Carroll County High School in Hillsville, Va., has the nation’s first high school STEM lab that is focused on agriculture. Through hands-on experiments, students can learn about topics ranging from water and soil quality to biotechnology and GMOs. Lab manager Rachelle Rasco and FFA advisor Randy Webb explain how the lab combines science and agriculture to enhance lessons learned in the classroom. (Contributions from Virginia Farm Bureau)
