Former Kentucky Ag Teacher Takes Center Stage with Jericho Woods

August 16, 2016

Josh Mitcham says he was the kid who did it all in high school – sports, chorus, FFA – and after majoring in agricultural education at college, he taught agriculture for 12 years. Still, music was Josh’s real passion, and now he is the lead singer for Jericho Woods, a “rural” band based in Kentucky. Josh encourages all students to give FFA a try; he says agriculture is the vehicle for the experience, whatever your goals may be. (To hear an expanded interview with Josh, visit RuralRadio147.com.)

This segment aired on the August 13, 2016 “FFA Today” show on Rural Radio SiriusXM Channel 147.
