Hinsdale FFA members Cache Younkin and Casity Boucher explain how an FFA: Food For All grant helped their chapter provide fresh food for the school cafeteria. With the grant money, they bought fruit trees and pumpkin and squash plants for their edible school yard. The chapter also built a root cellar where the harvested fruits and vegetables are stored.

At the 2015 National FFA Convention & Expo, two former members of the New Farmers of America – Dr. Connie Baggett and Major General Arnold Fields – participated in a recognition of the 50th anniversary of the 1965 merger of the New Farmers of America and the Future Farmers of America. The National FFA Chorus sang “The NFA Creed Song.”
