Katie Bendickson, a member of the Miami East FFA Chapter in Casstown, Ohio, talks about her SAE project, “Katie’s Christmas Cheer.” Using evergreen branches from trees on her family’s property, Katie creates Christmas wreaths and sprays that she markets through word-of-mouth, social media and flyers.

Taylor Armstrong, former Alaska state FFA president and a member of the North Pole FFA Chapter in Alaska, explains what she has learned about reindeer through her SAE project. She currently owns two female reindeer, which she plans to halter-break so she can train them to pull a sleigh.
Former FFA member Jennifer Robinette is program coordinator for the Reindeer Research Program at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. She manages outreach efforts for youth in rural communities in Alaska, and she organizes reindeer husbandry camps for both youth and adults.
