CTE Innovators Visit the White House

Two FFA members and an FFA advisor were among the CTE Innovators who were recently honored at the White House. Catherine Cincotta of New Jersey received an award for research she completed for a chemical company and a university. Whitney Bowman of Virginia was recognized for her participation in CDEs and SAE projects and her advocacy for agriculture. Agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor Tyler Pope of Ohio was lauded for restarting a lapsed agriculture program at his high school and introducing some innovative learning opportunities.
