As a result, his work with the supervised agricultural experience program has earned him the unofficial title of “Mr. SAE,” and his students have responded with impressive success with their SAEs.

Through the FFA Hunger Heroes Challenge, FFA is working to donate 2.5 million “meals” by the start of the 2015 National FFA Convention & Expo in October. Tyson Foods joined the challenge, and for their efforts, Tyson was named the second quarter sponsor winner. Annetta Young talks about Tyson’s commitment to fight hunger and how Tyson’s relationship with FFA has grown.

Ken Couture says he knew when he left high school that he wanted to be an agricultural education teacher, and he has now completed 26 years in his chosen profession. Along with his teaching duties, Ken formed the Killingly FFA Parents and Alumni Association. He received an Honorary American FFA Degree‒Teacher at the 2014 National FFA Convention & Expo.
