For 18 years, the River View FFA Chapter in Warsaw, Ohio, has organized and hosted an annual Touch of Country Christmas event for area elementary students. FFA advisor Alyssa McMullen and chapter president Eden Ehman explain how chapter members transformed the ag shop into a winter wonderland so their guests could enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides and other activities. Appomattox Middle School FFA members in Virginia gathered Christmas cards for military service members who were away from their families during the holidays. FFA advisor Dani Gaulden relates how the chapter worked with others in the community, collecting nearly 500 cards to show their support of service members in Okinawa and at Camp Lejeune, S.C.

Members of the Quapaw FFA Chapter in Oklahoma created a Christmas-themed light display for the Twin Bridges State Park’s annual Park of Lights event. Quapaw FFA advisor Jason Couch and FFA members Christian Miller, Denee Riley and Tori Harris describe the idea for their display and explain how chapter members transformed that idea into a reality.
