Krista Pontius and Michael Clark, FFA advisors at Greenwood High School in Millerstown, Pa., talk about the hunger banquet that their chapter hosted to raise awareness of food security issues. Guests arrived at the banquet not knowing if they would be served a four-course meal, a standard meal or a cup of beans and rice. The banquet not only opened people’s eyes to the reality of food insecurity, but it also raised $1,400 that the chapter donated to a local food bank.
